We are looking for:

Store Stylist (6 month contract)

About the role:

 

Providing exceptional customer service and styling advice whilst demonstrating strong selling techniques, to achieve sales KPIs and build a client base.
 
Location: Cadogan Place, London
Full time, 6 month contract
 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Customer Service and Sales KPIs
 
  • Hold one on one customer appointments in store and personal styling sessions
  • Build outfits / style the collection with clients
  • Oversee alteration process from start to finish
  • Be highly confident with one on one and personal styling appointment
  • Be The Fold brand ambassador and role model for the rest of the team with selling technique / upselling
  • Work alongside with the rest of the team to achieve and improve sales targets

Client base

 

  • Build a personal client base and oversee your own clientele book by managing customer relationships and report improvements on a monthly basis
  • Capture client’s preferences to tailored follow ups and information via CRM system
  • Be proactive in building recognition of The Fold
  • Involvement in brand events

General store tasks

 

  • Maintain high standards on the shop floor and stockroom
  • Complete the opening/closing checklist at the beginning and end of each day
  • Have up to date brand and product knowledge to style the collection with customers
  • Support the VM specialist with VM moves to ensure they are aligned with new monthly drops
  • Process delivery and mid week top up to ensure current collection is replenished and up to date
  • Stock management and understanding of our processes

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Have previous experience of sales in store, boutique, styling or a similar environment
  • Be familiar with high-end sales processes, behaviours, customers and brands
  • Be passionate about styling and building customer relationships
  • Be a committed energetic, motivated contributor to The Fold, going above and beyond the role with a proactive attitude to work as part of The Fold team
  • Have a basic understanding of KPIs within a retail environment
  • Contribute with a proactive attitude to daily tasks
  • Understand the importance of styling as well as the behind the scenes/administrative aspects of the role

Accounts Assistant

About the role:

 

Responsible for all aspects of cash and bank reconciliations, general accountants payable and providing support to the finance team.  
 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Sales, Cash & Banking
 
  • Reconciliation of all GBP, EUR & USD bank accounts on a daily/weekly basis
  • Reconciliation of other cash accounts including Braintree, PayPal, Shopify & Global-e on a weekly basis ensuring any queries are communicated to Customer Services and resolved in a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of store cash balances
  • Communicate weekly cash balances to CEO, CFO & HoF

Accounts Payable

 

  • Ownership of invoice postings and supplier relationships for certain areas of spend, ensuring consistent communication with Finance
  • Manager on the status of these accounts
  • Weekly posting of supplier payments
  • Completing certain Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Ad hoc support where required, during periods of annual leave etc.

Management Accounts & Trackers

 

  • Preparation of all monthly bank & cash reconciliations
  • Ownership of certain balance sheet reconciliations

General

 

  • Assist Finance Manager in compiling documentation for year end audit
  • Other ad hoc tasks and support to the Finance team in line with team requirements

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Previous experience working in the Finance team of an SME retail/ecommerce business

  • Solid financial systems experience; Netsuite preferable

  • Strong Excel skills (pivots, vlookups etc.)

  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles

  • A motivated and ambitious team player, keen to be an integral part of the Finance team

  • A great communicator, building and encouraging strong relationships with the rest of The Fold team

Studio Assistant (6 month contract)

About the role:

 
Work closely with the Design, Technical and Buying Department. Supporting all departments will require a team player with lots of initiative and who likes working in a fast paced environment. This role will provide a great insight into the workings of a design led fashion house, the roles of the different functions and the processes that take place to deliver a collection.
 
Contract type: Fixed term contract 6 months
 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Supporting the design team
 
  • Support the design assistant by updating the collection line ups on a weekly basis
  • Assist Design Assistant in completing tech packs and updating BOMs
  • Create parcels for London seamstress that include the pattern, fabric and reference sample
  • Assist the team with fabric sampling orders, fabric archiving and stock management
  • Sending Lab dips to mills and factories
  • Assist with the filing of lab dips and bulk fabrics
  • Help set up and prepare for monthly collection buy weeks and organise samples after Mop up

 

Supporting the technical team 

 

  • Prepare the weekly fit list ensuring all samples are steamed and reference samples are available
  • Support team with tech packs
  • Support team with managing QC samples, measure, check quality and send approval to the suppliers  
  • Manage the QC returns to the warehouse on a monthly basis

 

Supporting the buying and production team

 

  • Manage outbound and inbound post ensuring customs paperwork is correct and all samples are logged according to SOPs
  • Organizing and maintaining the archive rails ensuring borrowed samples are returned
  • Support the buying and design assistants in preparing the photoshoot rails ensuring all samples are available and presentable
  • Liaising across the business for sample requests, keeping track of any borrowed samples
  • Carry out a monthly Comp shop, highlighting any key trends across competitors
  • Upload all attributes onto the system (Netsuite), maintaining accuracy
  • Swatch management for liability
  • Netsuite admin (good receipt fabrics, fabric transfers)

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • A clear understanding of the design aesthetic of The Fold

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  

  • Team player who collaborates with ease  

  • Strong organiser who prioritizes with ease and understand the importance of excellent time management

Midweight Graphic Designer

About the role:

 

Reporting into the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be working across all of The Fold’s design collateral from printed lookbooks and web page design to paid media advertising and direct mail.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Design Development
 
  • Developing design assets into rich, creative online and offline experiences across multiple touch-points.
  • Continuously driving the brand’s creative output with innovative and effective design, inspiring the team with outside-of-the-box thinking and new ideas.
  • Designing across day-to-day BAU briefs as well as special projects.
  • Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.

Conceptualisation

 

  • Help generate ideas in order to make improvements to current systems and take a proactive approach in implementing those ideas.
  • Working with a strategic mindset, keeping well informed in customer, creative and product trends to better inform your work and create effective results.
  • Taking ownership of your own projects whilst supporting the other designers when needed, helping each other to develop skill sets within the team.  

Branding

 

  • Helping to evolve all aspects of the brand in line with the brand ethos.

Collaboration

 

  • Understanding and working to company wide briefing processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of filing and organisation is kept.
  • Working with other teams across the business (marketing, ecomm, design, operations) to ensure your designs encompass all relevant business objectives when required.

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Degree in BA Graphic Design

  • Previous multimedia design experience in a similar business such as ecom or creative agency, preferably in fashion or luxury sector

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, from digital assets (social, email, ecomm, video editing, animation) to printed matter and store POS

  • Passionate about graphic design, typography, colour and layout, staying up-to-date with best practices in the design field and finger on the pulse of aspirational brands

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator

  • Experience with Figma

  • A strong eye for detail and pixel perfect designs

  • A passionate approach to work- a humbitious, can-do attitude and open to feedback

  • Ability to approach design challenges with creativity and an open mind, offering fresh solutions and taking initiative

Midweight Retoucher

About the role:

 

Working closely with the Retouch team to deliver imagery to the highest quality aligned with our principles and aesthetic, across digital, print and marketing materials.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Image retouching
 
  • Reporting to the Lead Retoucher, working across all The Fold’s imagery including campaign, lookbook, ecommerce, cutout, still-life and portraits.
  • Supporting the Lead Retoucher to perform all aspects of image retouching including colour correction, swatch matching, retouch and checking consistency between products.
  • Leading the cutout imagery process and liaising with the photographer giving feedback and annotations before final imagery is supplied.
  • Actioning retouch notes and corrections in a non-destructive workflow, whilst proactively flagging when a request is more complicated and might have an impact on deadlines/overall quality of the final image.

Collaboration

 

  • Working efficiently and collaboratively as part of the retouch team.
  • Outputting imagery to a variety of required formats, specs and crops depending on end use, working collaboratively with the graphics and marketing team to deliver multiple outputs.
  • Working closely with the design and production team to fully understand the collection and required attributes needed for retouch.  
  • Developing strong working relationships with the wider team to gain a better understanding of the brand and collections, contributing to the development of your own work.

Quality control and organisation

 

  • Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.
  • Understanding current image processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of image filing and organisation is kept.  
  • When necessary, responding to more reactive and urgent retouch requests, efficiently managing priorities and realistic deadlines.

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Minimum 2 years working in a similar retouching role in luxury fashion

  • Strong background and experience in retouching models, clothing and skin

  • Advanced knowledge of the latest version of Adobe Photoshop and Capture One

  • Proficient in the use of Mac OS, Wacom tablets & Eizo monitors

  • Strong understanding of colour space and management

  • High attention to detail with a creative instinct

  • Self motivated and highly organised

  • Ability to multitask and manage workload to meet tight deadlines

  • Team player and a positive 'can-do' attitude
