We are looking for:

Designer

About the role:

 

Supporting the Design team with the creation of seasonal collections, from researching trends and selecting fabrics to designing contemporary pieces through to development, in line with The Fold’s identity.  
 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Conceptualise and Design Collections
 
  • Designing contemporary pieces, showing strong understanding of outfitting and range building.
  • Working 3-D on the stand.
  • Creating technical drawings for your designs. Selecting trims and linings.
  • Working with Technical and Production team to launch all sketches with appropriate manufacturers.
  • Preparing collection for and amending line ups after sign off meetings.

Trend Research

 

  • Seasonal design research.
  • Creating mood boards and colour palettes with Design Team - staying true to Fold’s DNA.

Fabric and Material Selection

 

  • Working with the team to select fabrics, prints, colours and trims for the season.
  • International trips attending fabric fairs, exhibitions and visiting suppliers.

Collaborate across departments

 

  • To pass on all relevant and appropriate information to all areas linked to product i.e. production, sales, merchandising and marketing.
  • Attending Lessons Learnt meetings and having strong knowledge of bestselling styles.
  • Visiting Fold stores on a regular basis to have a strong understanding of our customers and products.

Fit Sessions and Adjustments

 

  • Working closely with pattern cutters to create new drapes and silhouettes.
  • Weekly fittings with the technical team.

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Strong Design portfolio and Photoshop skills are essential.

  • Impeccable eye for print and colour.

  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Minimum 5 years in the Fashion Design Industry.

  • Strong drawing and draping skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Midweight Graphic Designer

About the role:

 

Reporting into the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be working across all of The Fold’s design collateral from printed lookbooks and web page design to paid media advertising and direct mail.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Design Development
 
  • Developing design assets into rich, creative online and offline experiences across multiple touch-points.
  • Continuously driving the brand’s creative output with innovative and effective design, inspiring the team with outside-of-the-box thinking and new ideas.
  • Designing across day-to-day BAU briefs as well as special projects.
  • Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.

Conceptualisation

 

  • Help generate ideas in order to make improvements to current systems and take a proactive approach in implementing those ideas.
  • Working with a strategic mindset, keeping well informed in customer, creative and product trends to better inform your work and create effective results.
  • Taking ownership of your own projects whilst supporting the other designers when needed, helping each other to develop skill sets within the team.  

Branding

 

  • Helping to evolve all aspects of the brand in line with the brand ethos.

Collaboration

 

  • Understanding and working to company wide briefing processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of filing and organisation is kept.
  • Working with other teams across the business (marketing, ecomm, design, operations) to ensure your designs encompass all relevant business objectives when required.

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Degree in BA Graphic Design

  • Previous multimedia design experience in a similar business such as ecom or creative agency, preferably in fashion or luxury sector

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, from digital assets (social, email, ecomm, video editing, animation) to printed matter and store POS

  • Passionate about graphic design, typography, colour and layout, staying up-to-date with best practices in the design field and finger on the pulse of aspirational brands

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator

  • Experience with Figma

  • A strong eye for detail and pixel perfect designs

  • A passionate approach to work- a humbitious, can-do attitude and open to feedback

  • Ability to approach design challenges with creativity and an open mind, offering fresh solutions and taking initiative

  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively with strong time management - managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication skills- confident and articulate presentation skills and actively contributing to meetings and creative sessions.

Senior Growth Marketing Manager

About the role:

 

Join our dynamic marketing team to unite our growth strategies across ecommerce, performance marketing and CRM, alongside our wider marketing strategy. We are looking for a self-driven, entrepreneurial individual who has experience working in fast-paced, agile, retail environments, and ideally from a fashion background. We are a lean, focused team with big ambitions, and we need someone who can roll their sleeves up, get into the data, and make commercially driven decisions, with our customer always front and centre, and without comprising our unique brand positioning. With a wide remit, this role offers a great opportunity for someone who can identify the priorities across disciplines to drive a cohesive approach to business growth.
 

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Planning
 
  • Create an annual growth marketing plan under the direction of the Marketing Director to deliver our wider marketing strategy and business objectives, through a growth-focussed lens, considering the different channels and customer groups against our top line product and marketing calendars
  • Underpin all activity with the agreed customer metrics for the year
    Work with the Content Editor to devise connected paid campaigns that are reflective of our overall content strategy and deliver on our brand values visually and via TOV
  • Work with the Content Editor to devise the email plan for the season, utilising data from previous campaigns to advise this, and adjust the specifics as the monthly plans get locked down
  • Ensure the performance marketing plans are aligned across channels and detailed in the planning pack and marketing calendar, updating where necessary
  • Coordinate all marketing activities with the onsite experience to ensure cohesion in the customer journey

Delivery

 

  • Delivery of the growth strategy, including a project roadmap within the agreed timelines and to budget, indicating risks and opportunities throughout the process, and measuring the relative success
  • Weekly project update to all key stakeholders with clarity on milestones and risks to delivery
  • Plan for all launches (collection, sale, etc.) with a clear critical path and RACI to ensure they are delivered on time and efficiently, ensuring all involved are clear on their deadlines in a timely manner
  • Create process guides for all key ecommerce tasks, identifying cross-functional involvement and ensuring all are clear on their requirements, and evolve for the most efficient working practices across the business
  • Contribute to any wider business projects that have a growth contingent ensuring there is clarity on what can be delivered within the proposed timeframe and any risks / concerns

Agency Management

 

  • Daily management of the digital agency, supporting them with delivering our agreed plans
  • Oversee the account behaviour to ensure tracking to forecasted KPIs and within budget, highlighting any risks to both the agency and internal team to ensure they are minimised
  • Ownership for the agenda for any agency calls and follow up actions
  • Realtime management of the growth marketing budget, managing the agency on a weekly basis to ensure spends are in line with agreed KPIs and any changes are socialised to the right stakeholders within the business
  • Create joint roadmaps with our agencies to extend our offering, improve efficiency and test and manage the delivery of these through, ensuring the wider team are aware of these changes / additions with time to support
  • Day-to-day main point of contact for our customer agency, working through the agreed roadmap and presenting back the updates to the wider team
  • Main contact for the CRM agency, holding regular account reviews and owning an associated roadmap for improvement

Reporting & Reacting

 

  • Daily update to the trading group on performance and BTA vs. weekly ecommerce targets / KPIs, identifying any risks and opportunities and acting on them across the team
  • Day-by-day tracker for all key LFL trading periods e.g. sale and promos to provide relevant insights and proposed optimisations as period progresses
  • Reporting on any new projects / changes to site as they occur vs. objectives / benchmarks highlighting risks or opportunities with associated action list
  • Thorough testing of all deployments via a testing plan by device
  • Feedback across the business, as appropriate, on any findings from site checks and journey mapping
  • Regular app performance reports to ensure they are delivering against expectations, holding agency meetings where appropriate
  • Become the expert on all KPIs and best practice metrics to allow us to benchmark our performance easily
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on all performance marketing, customer, and ecommerce disciplines, to deliver succinct and meaningful reporting that can be understood across the business
  • Be aware of what’s going on in the wider market and industry trends and share opportunities and risks to relevant stakeholders
  • Attend relevant industry events and webinars, feeding back on any key insights and opportunities

Team Management

 

  • Act as a mentor for the junior members of the team, enhancing their skillset and ensuring they are all working towards the common business goals
  • Set KPIs for all team members in line with the business objectives and their own personal development direction, holding regular reviews to ensure they are tracking in the right direction
  • Support team with focus and prioritisation of their tasks

About the role:

 

Providing exceptional customer service and styling advice whilst demonstrating strong selling techniques, to achieve sales KPIs and build a client base.
 
Location: Cadogan Place, London
Full time, 6 month contract
 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Customer Service and Sales KPIs
 
  • Hold one on one customer appointments in store and personal styling sessions
  • Build outfits / style the collection with clients
  • Oversee alteration process from start to finish
  • Be highly confident with one on one and personal styling appointment
  • Be The Fold brand ambassador and role model for the rest of the team with selling technique / upselling
  • Work alongside with the rest of the team to achieve and improve sales targets

 

Client base

 

  • Build a personal client base and oversee your own clientele book by managing customer relationships and report improvements on a monthly basis
  • Capture client’s preferences to tailored follow ups and information via CRM system
  • Be proactive in building recognition of The Fold
  • Involvement in brand events

General store tasks

 

  • Maintain high standards on the shop floor and stockroom
  • Complete the opening/closing checklist at the beginning and end of each day
  • Have up to date brand and product knowledge to style the collection with customers
  • Support the VM specialist with VM moves to ensure they are aligned with new monthly drops
  • Process delivery and mid week top up to ensure current collection is replenished and up to date
  • Stock management and understanding of our processes

 

 

Your skillset:

 

  • Have previous experience of sales in store, boutique, styling or a similar environment
  • Be familiar with high-end sales processes, behaviours, customers and brands
  • Be passionate about styling and building customer relationships
  • Be a committed energetic, motivated contributor to The Fold, going above and beyond the role with a proactive attitude to work as part of The Fold team
  • Have a basic understanding of KPIs within a retail environment
  • Contribute with a proactive attitude to daily tasks
  • Understand the importance of styling as well as the behind the scenes/administrative aspects of the role
