We are looking for:
Finance Manager
About the role:
Your responsibilities:
- Full ownership of month-end process ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Reviewing all P&L entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ownership of all balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of MI pack, including full commentary & variance analysis
- Monthly review of spend trackers with budget holder
- Ownership of R&Os schedule; ongoing identification of business risks & opportunities
- Work alongside Head of Finance in the ongoing development of financial reporting and analysis
Accounts Payable
- Coaching and development of Accounts Payable Assistant
- Ownership and review of trade creditor balances with AP assistant
- Weekly review of aged creditors and payment run
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist Head of Finance with annual budget process & periodic re-forecasts
- Ongoing oversight of business risks & opportunities
Audit, Statutory Accounts & Compliance
- Act as the first point of contact for external auditors during our annual audit process
- Preparation of quarterly UK VAT returns
- Review of quarterly Italian VAT submissions and key point of contact for our external advisors
Other
- Ongoing review and improvement of finance systems and processes
- Support with Netsuite development, including new reports (both for Finance and the wider business)
- Partnering across the business (Customer Services, Ops etc.) to influence and improve upon existing processes
- Leading or supporting on various ad-hoc projects across the business
Your skillset:

Qualified accountant, either ACA or ACCA/CIMA with demonstrable relevant experience

Previous experience in a consumer SME (preferably ecommerce) – preferred but not essential

Significant financial systems experience, Netsuite preferable

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate within a team environment

Ability to challenge teams on existing processes and provide innovative solutions to enhance efficiency

Designer
About the role:
Your responsibilities:
- Designing contemporary pieces, showing strong understanding of outfitting and range building.
- Working 3-D on the stand.
- Creating technical drawings for your designs. Selecting trims and linings.
- Working with Technical and Production team to launch all sketches with appropriate manufacturers.
- Preparing collection for and amending line ups after sign off meetings.
Trend Research
- Seasonal design research.
- Creating mood boards and colour palettes with Design Team - staying true to Fold’s DNA.
Fabric and Material Selection
- Working with the team to select fabrics, prints, colours and trims for the season.
- International trips attending fabric fairs, exhibitions and visiting suppliers.
Collaborate across departments
- To pass on all relevant and appropriate information to all areas linked to product i.e. production, sales, merchandising and marketing.
- Attending Lessons Learnt meetings and having strong knowledge of bestselling styles.
- Visiting Fold stores on a regular basis to have a strong understanding of our customers and products.
Fit Sessions and Adjustments
- Working closely with pattern cutters to create new drapes and silhouettes.
- Weekly fittings with the technical team.
Your skillset:

Strong Design portfolio and Photoshop skills are essential.

Impeccable eye for print and colour.

Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

Minimum 5 years in the Fashion Design Industry.

Midweight Graphic Designer
About the role:
Your responsibilities:
- Developing design assets into rich, creative online and offline experiences across multiple touch-points.
- Continuously driving the brand’s creative output with innovative and effective design, inspiring the team with outside-of-the-box thinking and new ideas.
- Designing across day-to-day BAU briefs as well as special projects.
- Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.
Conceptualisation
- Help generate ideas in order to make improvements to current systems and take a proactive approach in implementing those ideas.
- Working with a strategic mindset, keeping well informed in customer, creative and product trends to better inform your work and create effective results.
- Taking ownership of your own projects whilst supporting the other designers when needed, helping each other to develop skill sets within the team.
Branding
- Helping to evolve all aspects of the brand in line with the brand ethos.
Collaboration
- Understanding and working to company wide briefing processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of filing and organisation is kept.
- Working with other teams across the business (marketing, ecomm, design, operations) to ensure your designs encompass all relevant business objectives when required.
Your skillset:

Degree in BA Graphic Design

Previous multimedia design experience in a similar business such as ecom or creative agency, preferably in fashion or luxury sector

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, from digital assets (social, email, ecomm, video editing, animation) to printed matter and store POS

Passionate about graphic design, typography, colour and layout, staying up-to-date with best practices in the design field and finger on the pulse of aspirational brands

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator

PR Coordinator
About the role:
Your responsibilities:
- Own a live contact book for all key press, noting their movements and any relevant information that will aid relationships
- Be an ambassador for the brand, living and breathing the USPs and values of The Fold in a meaningful and memorable way
- Hold regular meetings with key contacts keeping them up to date with product highlights and brand activations
- Keep up to date and liaising with press via social media, if appropriate both personally and via The Fold
- Find innovative ways to connect with US contacts to ensure The Fold remains front of mind for relevant publications
- Pitch regularly on product and brand messages to ensure ongoing press inclusions
- Feedback on press appointments to the wider teams ref product and collaborations to ensure lessons learnt are being captured across the business
- Identify the press-worthy items in product handover meetings, ordering samples accordingly, and feeding back on any missed opportunities based on predicted trends and ongoing feedback from press
- Suggest and manage relevant activities throughout the year to support press awareness and engagement
- Manage the press affiliate relationship and ensure key publications are aware of the program to aid coverage
- Encourage direct linking the website to increase back-linking and monitor and feedback on the results via GA4
- Live sharing of press inclusions to the wider team to be posted on social media immediately and included in email and SMS campaigns accordingly
- Report on success and lessons learned to ensure ongoing improvements
Celebrity / VIP dressing
- Devise a central list of celebrities and VIPs for dressing, encouraging feedback from product team and wider marketing team
- Have a working knowledge of the most relevant stylists for dressing target high profile individuals and celebrities – keep connected with them and know what projects they have coming up
- Own relationships with key stylists and VIPs directly, reaching out regularly to keep The Fold in mind
- Keep up to date and liaising with stylist and celebrities via social media, if appropriate both personally and via The Fold
- Ensure regular placement of product on relevant household names on TV and social media, with a view to creating brand advocates for The Fold
- Devise a plan for A-list / VIP dressing in line with key events and product drops and work strategically to ensure they are dressed accordingly, working with the product team to deliver bespoke packages as necessary
- Keep the wider team up to date with developments so that content can be planned / reacted to support any activity
- Day-to-day management of any freelancers or agencies onboarded to support celebrity / VIP placements
- Report on success and lessons learned to ensure ongoing improvements
Influencers
- Identify credible influencers to work with on a gifting basis
- Manage relationships with influencers both in person, where possible, and via social media, both personally and through The Fold, to keep them warm
- Devise plans for activities to encourage content coverage from influencers, and work with the wider team to support this through content
- Work alongside the Junior Community Manager on The Friends of The Fold paid programme to ensure no overlap on outreach and best practice is adhered across all comms
Business press and awards
- Own the database for all business contacts, including US and non-traditional media like podcasts and radio
- Schedule regular updates to key contacts around business launches, success etc.
- Manage the calendar for all relevant business awards, managing the entry process
- Ensure all coverage and “wins” are talked about via LinkedIn and wider, if appropriate
- Devise a plan for amplifying the profiles of Polly (CEO) and Katya (Design Director)
- Pitch in profile and brand stories to relevant media outputs, including traditional press, speaker opportunities, events, podcasts
- Liaise with both on delivery and manage the calendar for them
- Keep wider team up-to-date on activities to be included in content calendar
- Manage all press, stylist and influencer requests, including placing orders and pulling samples for call ins
- Establish and maintain a seamless sample management process and organise all send-outs, store loans, couriers and liaison with the warehouse team
- Keep on top of returns ensuring all stock loaned from the warehouse or store is returned in a timely manner
- Manage the budget for PR based on the agreed forecast and feedback on risks and opportunities throughout the year
- Reporting
- Finger on the pulse of what is going on in the wider market, amongst peers and aspirational brands (even outside the fashion market), sharing insights with wider team and using these as a basis for future planning – be the go-to for this intel within the business
- Contribute data driven and anecdotal feedback to the wider team via lessons learnt on a monthly basis
