We are looking for:
Store Stylist
About the role:
Providing exceptional customer service and styling advice whilst demonstrating strong selling techniques, to achieve sales KPIs and build a client base.
Your responsibilities:
- Hold one on one customer appointments in store and personal styling sessions
- Build outfits / style the collection with clients
- Oversee alteration process from start to finish
- Be highly confident with one on one and personal styling appointment
- Be The Fold brand ambassador and role model for the rest of the team with selling technique / upselling
- Work alongside with the rest of the team to achieve and improve sales targets
Client base
- Build a personal client base and oversee your own clientele book by managing customer relationships and report improvements on a monthly basis
- Capture client’s preferences to tailored follow ups and information via CRM system
- Be proactive in building recognition of The Fold
- Involvement in brand events
General store tasks
- Maintain high standards on the shop floor and stockroom
- Complete the opening/closing checklist at the beginning and end of each day
- Have up to date brand and product knowledge to style the collection with customers
Support the VM specialist with VM moves to ensure they are aligned with new monthly drops - Process delivery and mid week top up to ensure current collection is replenished and up to date
- Stock management and understanding of our processes
Your skillset:
- Have previous experience of sales in store, boutique, styling or a similar environment
- Be familiar with high-end sales processes, behaviours, customers and brands
- Be passionate about styling and building customer relationships
- Be a committed energetic, motivated contributor to The Fold, going above and beyond the role with a proactive attitude to work as part of The Fold team
- Have a basic understanding of KPIs within a retail environment
- Contribute with a proactive attitude to daily tasks
- Understand the importance of styling as well as the behind the scenes/administrative aspects of the role

Product Development Assistant
About the role:
Assist the Design team with creation of Tech Packs and technical drawings. The role will also work very closely with our Buying, Production and Garment Tech teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist the Design team with creating tech packs by preparing and reviewing detailed tech packs, BOMs and specifications for each product.
- Do technical drawings for new styles
- Make sure lab dips, strike offs and any relevant markers are pulled and with correct garments for product meetings
- Tidy up after product meetings; ensuring product is put away in the correct area, lab dips and strike offs are filed away
- Ensure the range line up is up to date with high quality of presentation, share the updated line up with the team
- Add colour name, fabric description and factory to the line-up
- Responsible for creating and organising design folders: colours standards, lab dips, strike offs, month by month fabric folder.
- Assist with seasonal sample, fabric archiving and stock management
- Create POs for sampling fabrics/ Assisting with raising PO’s for sampling
- Update and maintain sampling tracker
- Attend weekly photoshoot meetings
Your skillset:
- A clear understanding of the design aesthetic of The Fold
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player who collaborates with ease
- Strong organiser who prioritizes with ease and understand the importance of excellent time management
- Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude to work
- The ability to analyse problems and offer solutions
- Attention to detail is key as this is a fast-paced role, so a sharp eye is essential
- Strong MS Office skills
- Skilled in photoshop
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator

Design Assistant
Contract type:
FTC 1 year placement, 20 hours per week (Tuesday – Thursday)
About the role:
Work closely with the Design team to provide support through the full design process, from initial design to production. This role will provide a great insight into the workings of a design led fashion house, the roles of the different functions and the design team process.
Your responsibilities:
- Help update and maintain monthly line ups using photoshop to colour and cad up sketches
- Assist design team with creating tech packs
- Create parcels for London seamstress that include the pattern, fabric and reference sample
- Make sure lab dips, strike offs and any relevant markers are pulled and with correct garments for product meetings
- Tidy up after product meetings; ensuring product is put away in the correct area, lab dips and strike offs are filed away
- Organise the fabric rolls in atelier
- Organise design folders: colours standards, lab dips, strike offs, month by month fabric folder
- Assist with seasonal sample, fabric archiving and stock management
- Send out colour standards to factories and mills
- Assisting with flat drawings
- Sending out parcels to factories / mills
- Help prepare and set up for meetings
- Assist finding colour standards
- Design research
Your skillset:
