The Fold’s design-to-delivery process is rigorous and uncompromising. Every piece in our collection is designed in our London atelier with your needs front of mind, and our Future Icons capsule is no exception. We’ve reimagined our most iconic styles, fusing the finest of fabrics with the most elevated of finishes. The fluid poetry of head-turning silk dresses is matched by the contoured tailoring of our signature tops, creating a collection that sparks joy with every wear.
Our design ethos is simple: no challenge is too big, no detail too small. We pride ourselves on overseeing the entire design process, from sketch to sample. We meticulously scrutinise at every stage to ensure that we deliver you, our customer, with a product you’ll wear and love for a lifetime.
Fit for purpose
The workplace is in a process of transformation and parameters around offices and working hours have shifted dramatically. Flexible working is here to stay and our workwear needs to reflect this. As a completely female design team, we know the pain points when it comes to shopping for flattering, functional and feminine workwear that traverses office and home.
We scrutinise at every stage and put each piece through its paces. How will she wear this? Is it comfortable? Does it fuse form and function? Is the fabric of the highest quality? Will it incite confidence? The questions we ask are endless, helping us to hone each design detail to ensure we deliver you pieces you’ll wear and love for a lifetime.
From concept to creation
Designed for women, by women, our collections are brought to life in our London atelier. From the cut to the colour, our designers refine every last detail to ensure that each piece is flattering and functional. We strive to champion female talent at every stage, turning to highly skilled artisans to hand-paint and weave the prints and patterns that adorn our clothes.
We are proud to manufacture garments in Europe and the UK, amongst our wider global manufacturing network, using only fabrics of the highest quality. Think elegant crepes, indulgent cashmeres and sumptuous silks, predominantly sourced from family-run Italian mills with generations of expertise. But what makes our garments really special is our unique attention to detail – we live up to our namesake through striking wrap styles and elegant folds that have become a much-loved signature for our brand.

In celebration of ten years of The Fold, we’ve created our most elevated collection yet, reimagining some of our most iconic, loved-by-you styles. Future Icons is a capsule of ten limited edition, head-turning looks that are instantly noticeable and quintessentially The Fold.
Modern, timeless and always versatile, we’ve designed each heirloom piece with the utmost attention to detail, fusing expert design with the finest of fabrics and universally flattering colours. These are styles that are made to be worn now and loved forever.
Responsibly Designed
Sustainability is more important than ever. We champion slow fashion, not fast fashion, creating classic yet contemporary styles that’ll be mainstays in your wardrobe for years to come. Our focus is always on fabrics and designs that are fit for purpose and will stand the test of time.
At the forefront of our efforts to become more sustainable is our tailoring. We’ve used tech innovation to create products with greener washing solutions, so more of our collection than ever is water washable on a cool hand wash setting. Our everyday tailoring collection, Clever Crepe, is made from a sustainably produced crepe that’s crease-free and washable. Our easy-wash, easy-wear Ultimate Wool tailoring capsule has also evolved, now made from a part-recycled sustainable fabric that’s woven with stretch for the most flattering fit.
