What is Harper?
Bringing the in-store experience to your home, Harper offers a convenient and stress-free shopping experience that allows you to see and feel your pieces before committing to a purchase. We offer two services via Harper:
Try for 5 – Try on our pieces at home and only pay for the items you decide to keep at the end of your 5 day try-on period.
Concierge – For customers in Greater London, we offer a Personal Concierge service. Enjoy a 40-minute at-home appointment with a brand-trained Style Concierge who can provide styling advice and support to help you find your perfect pieces. You only pay for the items you keep.

Where is the service available?
Both services are only currently available in the UK.
The Try for 5 service is currently available across the UK apart from R.Ireland and Northern Ireland. Please note, you are unable to use the Try for 5 service on pre-order items.
The Concierge appointments are currently available in Greater London (all 32 London boroughs and the City). Please note, you are unable to use Concierge on pre-order items.
How many styles can I try?
When using the Try for 5 service, you can try up to eight pieces at home without paying upfront. When checking out, you will be notified if you have reached the basket limit.
For the Concierge service, there is no limit on the number of items you can order.
Does the Style Concierge come into my home?
You can choose whether or not you would like in-home styling assistance at checkout. If you do select this option, your Style Concierge will accompany you to offer styling expertise and outfit suggestions.
If you prefer to shop alone, your Style Concierge will simply deliver your items and return after 40 minutes to take payment for the pieces you keep and take any returns off your hands.
How much does the service cost?
The Try for 5 service costs £6 for standard delivery (Royal Mail), £10 for next day delivery (DPD) and £12 for Saturday delivery.
The Concierge service costs £10, which is payable by card at your appointment. There is no additional spend or purchase requirement.
Will using the Try for 5 service affect my credit score?
No, using our service will not impact your credit score. There is no issuing of credit.
How quickly can my items arrive?
Try for 5 – Depending on the shipping service you choose at checkout, your items can arrive the next day (DPD) or within 2–3 days (Royal Mail). We also offer Saturday delivery with DPD when you place your order before midday.
Concierge – The earliest appointment you can book is 2 days from the day you place your order. Your items are sent from our warehouse to Harper and then hand delivered for your appointment.
Why was my order declined?
There are several reasons why your order may have been declined. We will notify you during the checkout process if this happens. Most likely, we were unable to verify your information.
To ensure that we have the best possible information at checkout, please do the following:
- Provide accurate name and address details
- Ship to your registered billing address when possible
- Provide a valid and verifiable payment method
If your order is declined, no payments will be processed. You can either re-enter your information and try again, or checkout through our normal process.
Can I apply a discount code?
Yes, discount codes can be applied. Simply enter the code at checkout and the discount will be reflected in the total amount charged once you choose which items to keep. Discount codes are subject to our usual terms and conditions.
How do I cancel or modify my order?
For Concierge and Try for 5, we are unable to modify orders. You would need to place a new order and then contact the Harper customer service team to ensure your orders are consolidated.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact the Harper customer service team as soon as possible after placing it. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled, but you can return any unwanted items to avoid being charged by following our returns policy.

Pre-order items
Pre-order items are not eligible for either of the Harper services. You will be notified at checkout if there are pre-order items in your basket and they will be removed.
What happens if there are issues with items in my order after it is delivered?
If you discover an issue with your order, please contact The Fold Customer Care team, who will be able to assist you.
When does the Try for 5 try-on period start?
For Try for 5, your try-on period starts the day after you receive your complete order.
How long do I have to try my pieces?
For the Try for 5 service, you have five calendar days to try on your pieces and return any that you don’t want to keep. Please do not remove any labels or wear the pieces beyond trying them on in your home.
For the Concierge service, you will have a 40-minute appointment to try on your pieces and decide what you want to keep. At the end of your appointment, your Concierge will take any returns with them.
How do I return my unwanted items?
For the Try for 5 service, we will send you a link via email to let us know which items you intend to return. This will inform how much you are charged. You should then use the Royal Mail returns label in your order to make a return. Please ensure that any returned pieces have the label, are undamaged, and unspoiled, or they will not be accepted and you will be charged.
For the Concierge service, your stylist will take care of any returns, saving you the hassle.
Any unwanted pieces need to be registered and returned during the Try for 5 try-on period. These returns do not need to be received by the warehouse during this period, but they must be sent off within this time frame. We will charge your card for the pieces kept at the end of the period (the pieces that were not returned).
Can I make a return after the try-on period?
Yes, you can. For Try for 5, you will have the usual 14 days from when you received your order to make any further returns. However, you will be charged for the pieces you kept at the end of the try-on period (5 days from receiving your order). Therefore you will have to wait for a refund for any returns made outside of the try-on period.

How can I pay?
For the Try for 5 service, the delivery charge will be taken within the Harper checkout. At the end of the try-on period, we will charge your card for the pieces you decide to keep (those that have not been returned within the period). Payment will be taken from the same card which was used to pay for the delivery of your items.
For the Concierge service, once you have decided which items you want to keep, payments are taken by your stylist at your appointment via a mobile iZettle card reader.

When will I be charged and for what?
For the Try for 5 service, you will only pay for the shipping fee upfront. We will charge the same card for the pieces you decide to keep (those that have not been returned within the five calendar days) at the end of the try-on period. For returns made after the try-on period, we will issue a refund once the items have been checked in at the warehouse. We will provide reminders throughout your try-on period.
For the Concierge service, you will be charged at the end of your 40-minute appointment via a mobile card reader for the pieces you wish to keep, plus a £10 delivery fee.
Who will come to my Concierge appointment?
A Fold-trained member of the Harper Style Concierge team delivers your pieces. They can either come in for your try-on period or wait outside. Please note, your Style Concierge may arrive at any time during your 1-hour slot. Appointment slots are one hour, and you have 40 minutes of try-on time after you take delivery.
