Marketing Manager - Full Time

About the role:

We are seeking a full time Marketing Manager to join the brand. This position gives you the opportunity to take full responsibility for the brand’s marketing calendar and tone of voice – delivering an exciting content stream across the brand’s marketing channels. You will approach this with an editorial mindset, delivering highly engaging content that that celebrates and engages the modern working woman. You’ll be ahead of the curve, addressing what matters to her now and already thinking about what’s next.

You will report into the Head of Brand and work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing and Senior Art Director to execute and bring together the creative and trade objectives.

Your responsibilities:

  • Compiling and delivering the marketing calendar with an editorial mindset. This calendar covers own, paid and PR and includes a monthly catalogue.
  • You will be responsible for writing engaging, concise content across channels; including website, broadcast, social, catalogue and concession POS – always thinking about the needs and mindset of the customer. You will evolve and develop this, keeping on top of changes in mood/ mindset.
  • You will develop and hone the brand’s tone of voice across channels and will write the copy for all brand content. You will have an editorial eye and edit any third-party content (such as interviews), adapting it to suit its end use / marketing channel.
  • Working with the Head of Brand, you will commission articles and features. You will also work closely with brand ambassadors and brand partners, building relationships and seeking out new contributors.
  • You will manage and keep on top of your own budget.
  • You will oversee the delivery of all creative assets, checking in regularly with the creative team and ensuring everything runs smoothly and lands on time. This also includes all brand assets for our concessions.
  • You will liaise with the merch and product team over delivery deadlines and be adept at navigating any last-minute changes into the marketing calendar.
  • You’ll manage a Senior Assistant, they will be your right hand, scheduling and helping you to run the broadcast and social content seamlessly. You will be their direct manager, helping them develop and grow within their own role.
  • You will work closely with the wider team to manage the content and critical path for the brand’s monthly catalogues. You will ensure that the catalogue content seamlessly links back to the brand’s website and own channel marketing.
  • You will ensure the catalogue web ‘go live’ including landing pages and shoppable page edits are all in sync, considering customer journey and conversion.
  • You will manage the website product copy, working with a copywriter to ensure the copy is on brand and checking for any errors, inconsistencies and inaccuracies.
  • You will report back to the team on performance KPI’s related to own marketing channels.

Junior Artworker/Retoucher - Full Time

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Working into the Creative Retoucher on a day-to-day basis and reporting to the Senior Art Director, you will be working across all of The Fold’s imagery including campaign, look book, ecom, product, still-life and and portraits.
  • Supporting the Creative Retoucher to perform all aspects of image retouching including colour correction, swatch matching, retouch sweep and checking consistency between products.
  • Outputting imagery to a variety of required formats, specs and crops depending on end use, working collaboratively with the graphics and marketing team to deliver multiple outputs.
  • Actioning retouch notes and corrections in a non-destructive workflow, whilst proactively flagging when a request is more complicated and might have an impact on deadlines/overall quality of the final image.
  • Working closely with the design and production team to fully understand the collection and required attributes needed for retouch.
  • Upholding a consistent and high standard of quality across all your work, always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes.
  • Understanding current image processes and asset management, ensuring a good standard of image filing and organisation is kept.
  • When necessary, responding to more reactive and urgent retouch requests, efficiently managing priorities and realistic deadlines.
  • Developing strong working relationships with the wider team to gain a better understanding of the brand and collections, contributing to the development of your own work.

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar business such as ecom or creative agency.
  • Technical skills on the Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Photoshop, with knowledge in other photographic programmes such as Capture One and Synergy a bonus.
  • An un-precious, can-do attitude, open to constructive feedback and offering alternative solutions when needed.
  • Good communication skills with both immediate team members and the wider team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively.
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and ambitious, constantly learning and developing your skills.
  • Collaborative team-player, actively contributing to meetings and creative sessions.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and processes quickly.
