The Fold is proud to design in London and manufacture all our garments in Europe. Our designs are committed to exemplify the highest standards of quality and our fabrics are sourced to make our clients feel truly indulged in fabulous crepes, silks, wools and jerseys.

In honor of our inspiring customers we have created an online and offline community around The Fold Woman, profiling extraordinary women and their tips of success to empower the image of the women in the business world. We host regular networking events bringing together the highest achieving women in business.

Our Story

The Fold was founded by Polly McMaster and Cheryl Mainland, two female entrepreneurs while studying for their MBA degrees at London Business School. The Co-Founder and CEO, Polly McMaster, runs the business and is based in London. Polly holds a PhD from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School, and has a city pedigree from Strategy Consulting and leading global Private Equity firm Apax Partners. A lack of inspiring, modern, stylish business wear prompted the founding of the brand.
